Jane's use of bright colors and highly detailed
painting can be found throughout all of her works. She loves to
bring the beauty of nature alive on canvas. Her paintings evoke
happy and pleasant feelings as this is how she feels when seeing
the wonders of nature.
Jane's two most recent paintings come closer to home with some personal works. Tava
is a portrait of her beloved Siamese Lynx point cat who recently passed away. He had a personality that was so much larger than his size. He was
loyal, loving and deeply bonded with the family. Though his spirit lives on, his presence will be forever missed.
In a departure from her normal style, Jane created this piece for her son. Sunset Pine
is a more contemporary style that her son wanted so he could use the image for skin covers for various electronic devices. While working with
a more free form style, Jane still found a way to put in more detail with the tree branches and leaves. |
