For my previous painting above, Field Of Lilies, I wanted something bright and colorful to help me through a stressful time in our lives. I really liked the composition of this piece and the artistic way it came together.		    Full Blossom Orchid Tree

My newest painting, Full Blossom Orchid Tree is from a photo I took during one of my many visits to the San Diego Zoo. The bright flowers of this Hong Kong Orchid Tree caught my eye. Once I saw blurred background from my camera lens, I knew this was the perfect shot for my style of painting.
